The main historical ruins were little away from our stay and were not much crowded. We did not take any guide, just hired a bike and went on ourselves to explore the forgotten land and used the information on the sign boards and our imagination to feel how the empire would have been during it’s glorious days. Stones are the main substance in their architecture, at various places we saw structures built with big big stones kept horizontally and vertically over each other.
Hampi boulders are so inviting and seem to call us to experience the past era. Here’s Hampi ruins through my eyes….
