“Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical. ”
quote by Sophia Loren is a bit cliche. Because in current era where we all love to look good, just being beautiful does not guarantee that. No doubt we need to take a good care of our skin following a definite skin care routine, eating right to stay healthy and in shape and to say the least keep on grooming ourselves regularly. Recently I met Sandhya Oza, a style expert in Tanishq Bridal Event held in Bangalore. Sandhya has a smart and elegant personality and a very humble nature. It was such a pleasure meeting her and discussing beauty and style tips, preparations needed before attending a wedding or a big event and similar things.

Few takeaways from discussion with Sandhya:
1-A full length mirror is a must at home, before you step out have head to toe stare at yourself to double check if everything is Ok.
2-Don’t die for a lighter skin tone, be yourself because that suits you best.
3-Choose makeup color and dress which is suitable for your skin tone.
4-Keep your dress and all matching accessories ready in advance to avoid any last minute hick ups
5-Do a trial makeup before any big event to check how the makeup looks on you.
6- Taking few photographs after your trial makeup will help you judge how your makeup looks in camera lights.
Sarla from Lakme studio also gave some pointers:
1-Beauty is a daily thing and not a one time event. Do take up time for yourself regularly
2-In order to avoid any makeup disaster before your wedding or an event choose your beautician wisely. Let them know your requirement and do a trial session with them
3-Choose a foundation which is one shade darker to you so that it blends with the body color and gives an overall lighter brighter look and avoids face looking too made up.
4- She suggested to use air brush technique for getting makeup done for a more even and natural look.
wow!!
you are one lucky person
