Here’s how you can share your pledge and tell us how you take care of your heart Fortisbangalore.com/attacktheattack/
Some may debate why there is need for any special day as Heart care is a day to day activity. Agreed, but don’t you think many times we forget to do most obvious things and when we get a reminder only then we get a new impetus. With ever increasing number of heart diseases, I feel World Heart Day is very important to inform people around the globe that heart disease and stroke are the world’s leading causes of death, claiming 17.3 million lives each year. Together with World Heart Federation members, World Heart Day spreads the news that at least 80% of premature deaths from cardiovascular disease (CVD) could be avoided if four main risk factors – tobacco use, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol – are controlled.
So let us know what’s your pledge and take good care of your heart!!!
