To Make my Women’s Day more pampered I was invited at Bodycraft Salon to try out P&G Salon Professional’s new launch Nioxin, which specializes in treatment of thinning hair for more than 25 years. Well I would not say I have severe hair thinning issue but yes I do find my hair got thinner with passing years.
To begin with my Scalp Test was done by a proficient stylist at Bodycraft Salon to examine by scalp and find the underlining issues and decide the treatment accordingly. Good thing is Nioxin has 6 different range of products suitable for different hair kinds, for me Nioxin No.5 was prescribed which is suitable for “Normal to Thin Looking Hair”
So my hair treatment which included 3 therapies started with Derma renew service. It was like doing facial of the scalp with Nioxin Cleanser which exfoliates the scalp and removes excess follicle-clogging sebum, fatty acids and environmental residues. I feel this is the most essential step so that all the nourishment can reach the roots for providing thicker-looking hair.
It was then followed by Density protect service. After the cleansing done in first step my hair was washed and Nioxin scalp revitaliser was applied and left for few minutes. This lightweight conditioner provides hair resilience and controls moisture balance.
Then finally as part of Density repair service, Nioxin scalp treatment was applied on my hair which is a leave in serum. This serum contains antioxidants and botanicals that help to provide a refreshed scalp environment. Thus completing my hair treatment.
My hair did feel voluminous and fuller after the treatment. All in all my hair felt good which makes the Nioxin treatment worth try. Sure we can not expect to turn into a bushy hair girl in one go and for that purpose 4 weeks at home treatment is also prescribed which would show faster and better results.
