The dawn of sunny season flared up my fascination for Ethnic wear and especially ethnic footwear or chappals as we call them. This urge reminded me of a brand Jivaana, which one of my friends told me about on our last gossip session. I Googled about it pronto, and surfed on to its collection and it didn’t fail to surprise me.
Jivaana is an online store started with an aim of promoting Ethnic and Festive Fashion across India and the world. They offer a wide variety of more than 5000 designs to cater to all types of tastes, pockets and occasions, looked like a tempting appetizer to me. Their apparel collection subsume a wide range of kurtis, sarees, anarkali suits and other ethnic drapes infusing a fresh approach into ethnicity and traditional sector of the society. Their collection comes in vibrant colors to sober ones, variety of patterns and designs from different designer labels like Shruti S, Idar, Preeti Sahni, Amota, Sozenkari, Renee Label, and much more. They also provide an array of accessories including bags, clutches and jewellery to complete your look.
The major charmer on their website is their ethnic chappals, which will be a stunner to add to your wardrobe. There are not many brands that provide you a good pair of chappals for womens online and even if you purchase them, the end product is not what you were expecting. Most of the websites provide a very limited range of ethnic women shoes online. It can be very well said that the chappals are the topical obsession with youth and other slices of society and I am pretty convinced that it is going to occupy major part in their wardrobes this summer. Though I’ve not used Jivaana’s footwear as of yet but I am very keen on trying them. They offer an unbelievable range of ethnic chappals including kohlapuris, Punjabi juttis, heels and wedges, I can dig myself in. I am obsessed with shoes and possess a special corner for ethnic wear footwears. Although it is not a piece of cake to choose the best one, but I have shortlisted my Favorite 5 Footwear from Jivaana:
1- Mustard printed Juttis
This amazing pair of mustard Punjabi juttis is my most favorite and a hot pick to wear with all types of ethnic wear, be it a salwar or a plazzo. A 400 year old traditional piece of artwork that comes in many variations gives an essential ethnic appeal to your attire. A must-have for a ethnic lover.
2- Printed flower Loafers
The oh-so-amazing charlotte loafers by Sole House are just something to drool over. They are one of the elegant pick from their collection and will certainly perk up your look. Try them on with a nice Pakistani kurta and straight pants.
3- Sequins and Zardosi work Sandal
OMG! These velvet handcrafted block heels by Veruschka with high rise sling-back and this state-of-the-art zardosi embroidery are truly the simplest form of luxury. Pair them with any of your fine embroidered drape saree or a gown and be the star of the night.
4- Hand Embroidered Kohlapuri Chappal
I am pretty sure that every girl owns a kohlapuri chappal and why not, they are the easiest pick to wear with any ethnic attire as they are the most comfortable footwear for your everyday outings. Try this pretty fragment of blush pink kohlapuris by Preety Kaur with your favorite summer outfit.
