Independence Day And Styling With My Riding Gear

August 16, 2014 by Swati Singh Leave a Comment

This Independence Day I chose yet another means to declare and rejoice my Freedom – My Motorcylce. Motorcycles are meant for the free souls and I felt it when I learnt to ride Enfield on my own. And it’s just a perfect combination to make my first successful ride on Independence day, and I thought why not should celebrate it with fashion I love.

Independence Day styling with Motorcycle

Biker girl styling with Royal Enfield

I styled this look with camouflage trousers and black tee and a shrug, inspired by India Army. I just loved how Abhishek has styled the bike for Independence Day theme with Tri color, so much added to the look 🙂

And while I take my Freedom ride I hear in my mind the lyrics of a beautiful song by Akon “Freedom”….

“Everything I have, everything I own
All my mistakes man you already know
I wanna be free, I wanna be free
Freedom, Freedom, Freedom, (Oh) Freedom”

Outfit Details:

Camouflage trousers – Decathlon

Nice comfortable fabric and stitching , though you will have to style them nicely to fit your need otherwise you may loose the charm of it.

Tee – ‘Superstar’ bought from Amsterdam

Nice fit, awesome comfortable fabric, with a lace around the neck.

Shrug – ‘Miss Bennett’ (from Jabong)

I needed them to style with this outfit, they are pretty long and light and fit well without lingering around and bothering during riding. They just do the styling job well.

Shoes – Clarks

Clarks shoes are primium quality shoes. Not only fashionable but functional as well. I tried the limit of these boots in extreme winter in Finland. Comfortable, strong and durable are the difinition of them.

Helmet – Studds

I choose it as it was light weight and comfortable for my usage. Styling was perfect with black matt finish and sleek graphics on it. Also it has got a bit of feminine form.
