Last Sunday was quite memorable for me because of all the action it unfolded. Can you believe in the afternoon I was at the Aranyani, launch running and searching for the clues at the Aranyani Treasure hunt. While in the night I was at the hospital preparing for arrival of my second baby :)… Extremes I would say š
So coming back to Aranyani launch which was unlike other product launch. It was actually a Treasure Hunt where we were divided into teamsĀ and we had to hunt for clues spread around the beautiful lush green Jayamahal Palace, Bangalore. There would have been no better place for this treasure hunt as it aligned perfectly with theme of Aranyani, Inspired by Forest.
Aranyani or the Goddess of the Forests, is a lifestyle brand targeting millennials. They are starting off with all kinds of bags for both men and women, coasters, table mats, wine bottle holders and so on. All the designs are inspired by the forests, in fact, the design team actually goes into a forest, studies the flora and fauna and then creates contemporary designs based on that forest. So, unlike others who may have up to 4 seasons in a year, they will have 7 seasons in a year! Going forward, they are looking at launching a clothing range for both men and women.
This Lion print handbag is my favorite from their collection for how effortlessly the fierceness of King of the jungle is blended with soft colors of denim print. Also sinceĀ Canvas has been used to make these handbags they have a nature friendly feel to it unlike bags made with synthetic materials.
The brand is NOT eco-friendly but eco-smart. Only the designs are inspired by forests. The good news is many of the products are unisex. The plain/solid product colour combinations are taken from natureās combination of colours in varied flora and fauna. The brand wants to create a trend of bright colours and prints.
