It was again one more hectic day dealing with some crazy people and few other things. I was completely in a different mood with no time for cooking or else today. Initially I thought of ordering food from Pizza hut or Domino’s as usual because of their reliability, but not this time,my food craving was definitely not for pizza.
I wanted to order something different and here it goes, I tried Foodpanda first time. I remembered it as some of my friend mentioned it a while ago, name was cheeky and how could I forget my favorite movie “Kung fu panda” and character “Po”. So this order was just for the Kung fu panda. Still can’t forget my favorite dialogue from Po “I just ate, so I’m still digesting, so my kung fu may not be as good as later on”.
And I just bumped into their website. Happy to say, it was quite simple. As I was completely in an experimental mode so I ordered food from a restaurant which I haven’t heard of before. Just based on their rating, selected the menu and ordered it. Payment on delivery I opted for considering the risk factor since I was ordering for the first time. Kept my finger crossed about food and service both, this all just for the sake of Kung fu Panda :). And you know I ordered Chinese food 🙂 , this time again just for the sake of Kung fu panda.
Well after ordering food, biggest challenge is “WAIT” especially when you are hungry and that too waiting period of 1 hour. Again I could bear it for tasty Chinese food. Then after 15 minutes I got a call from them regarding some confusion about order, lady on the other side clarified the things about the order and then finally I got the order on my doorstep in around 1 hour or probably slightly earlier. Not BAD … well awesome, I could smell delicious Chinese food and soup inside as the delivery guy opened the bag.
…. burrppppppppp … and I finished it really quickly .. thanking to Kung fu panda …. errrr .. Foodpanda for the evening they made.
So as Po said ” there is no special ingredient“ it’s just following things which impressed me:
1-On time delivery
2-Good customer service support as I immediately got a call from them regarding clarification
4-Have a mobile app, well nothing special because now a days it’s a necessity 🙂
Still I think they can do better by adding some more restaurant options to choose from, so that we get more variety to order. How I wish they soon make my favorite SUBWAY sandwich’s available at my door step 🙂
